Hello

My name is Kara Walsh and I have been a Physical Therapist for 26 years. I received my Bachelors in Kinesiology at University of Colorado, Boulder and went on to earn my Masters of Science in Physical Therapy at University of Oseteopathic Medicine (now Des Moines University of Medicine).  I have my certification Level I and II in Functional Dry Needling and utilize that technique for pain relief, injury rehabilitation, and to improve soft tissue mobility.  I am certified as a Fall Prevention Specialist.  I have worked in various Physical Therapy settings including outpatient, inpatient, Acute Care and have dedicated the last 15 years in outpatient physcial therapy working with young and older athletes including spinal dysfunction, sports disorders, TMJ disorders, orthopedic and neurological disorders, pre/post operative rehab and chronic pain. 

      I have been able to travel around the USA and the world as a military family for the last 30 years. In my spare time I love to spend time with my 4 kiddos and take care of my parents!
